The Dexcom G6 Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) System is a free app that requires the Dexcom G6 CGM System. It provides real-time glucose readings as frequently as every five minutes, approved for diabetes treatment decisions with zero fingersticks and no calibration. This app is compatible with Android 9.0 and above and is approved for children aged 2 and older.
The Dexcom G6 System offers personalized trend alerts and lets you see when your glucose levels are going too low or too high, so you can better manage your diabetes. You can schedule and customize a second set of alerts with the Alert Schedule feature. The Always Sound setting allows you to receive certain Dexcom CGM Alerts even if your phone sound is off or in Do Not Disturb mode.
You can also share your glucose data with your followers who can monitor your glucose data and trends on their compatible smart device with the Dexcom Follow app. Quick Glance allows you to view your glucose data on the lock screen of your smart device. The Dexcom G6 Android App also offers Wear OS Integration, which allows you to access your glucose information and trend graph right from your wrist. You can view glucose alerts and alarms from your Wear OS watch.
